Happy New Year, author! I am sure you have made some resolutions for this upcoming year. In case you haven’t, I’ve thought of a couple that can help you build and strengthen your brand.

SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-based. How can you focus on these aspects for goals for yourself, author?

To “go all out” means to put forth as much effort as possible. That is (ideally) what you should be doing, author. The more effort you put forth, the better the results are going to be.

You put yourself on social media, play the algorithm game, and in return you get followers, engagement, and book sales. It’s not quite that easy, but you get the gist.

They call it an elevator pitch because it’s roughly the same amount of time you’d spend in an elevator with someone.

Newsletters are a more intimate form of communication. Think of them like you’re writing a long letter to your readers.
